The Monash City Council are hosting the annual 'Live at Warrawee Concert' at Warrawee Park Oakleigh.
A picnic rug, impressive music acts, food trucks, a bar and local schools working closely with ‘Made in Natimuk’ art producers to deliver an impressive light installation in the band rotunda make for a perfect family friendly Saturday night.
The event will consist of live performances from renowned artists such as Mental as Anything, Dorsal Fins & Jazz Party.
Monash City Council are expecting a crowd of 5,000 residents from Oakleigh, Chadstone, Hughesdale and surrounds.
This event is easily accessible by public transport, with Oakleigh Station a short 5 minute walk away.
When: Saturday 17 March 2018
Where: Warrawee Park Oakleigh
The beautifully lit installation will showcase Oakleigh’s music history; right from the beginnings of Oakleigh Brass, the Oakleigh RSL, the influence of Greek music through to the beginnings of the Caravan Music Club who carried on the tradition of culture and music in Monash.
The event brings together Melbourne’s great professional artists and Monash’s talented musical community to perform on stage with full sound and lighting production.
As well as being a music experience, this event is also a visual feast with Warrawee Park Oakleigh lit up with creative and engaging light installations.
As the sun goes down on Oakleigh, Hughesdale and surrounding suburbs, the atmosphere at Live at Warrawee continues to rise.
